Our Story
Dogwood Growth Consulting was founded by Cameron McKillop, an operations and growth strategist who believes great businesses are built on clarity, consistency, and leadership that puts people first.
After years of leading cross-functional teams across sales, customer service, marketing, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and IT, Cameron saw a familiar challenge:
Companies rarely fail for lack of ideas — they struggle with alignment and execution.
That realization inspired him to create Dogwood — a partner for organizations ready to scale with structure and confidence.
Before launching Dogwood, Cameron served as Vice President of Operations for a Portland-based manufacturer supporting regulated industries including semiconductor, biotech, and medical device. There, he led Lean and digital transformation initiatives, built high-performing teams, and helped drive meaningful improvements in profitability and efficiency.
With an MBA, PMP certification, and deep expertise across process improvement and marketing strategy, Cameron brings a rare mix of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and empathy to every engagement.
Outside of Dogwood, he serves on the Board of Beacon Village, a Portland nonprofit providing transitional housing and pathways to stability for individuals experiencing homelessness.
